- GNL Quebec will bring in around $805 million in economic benefits per year. It will also bring in $110 million in tax revenue each year that go to things like roads and health care.
- GNL Quebec and local First Nations communities are collaborating on environmental assessments along the pipeline’s path.

Alberta has no need to be concerned either. Though demand will be slow in OECD countries, energy (and oil) demand will be increasing in developing nations. Oil will still be a major part of the energy mix, as well as natural gas. Demand will especially be driven by Asian countries like China and India. Canada is the best in the world at producing oil and gas resources and can help provide reliable energy while remaining environmentally sustainable.
